My Biography

Victoria’s music education commenced when in 1999 she became a member of her Primary School Choir as well as the Adelaide Girls Choir.
Victoria has been a soloist for the South Australian Public Primary Schools Festival of Music (2001 and 2002), as well as an Assisting Artist (2002) and was involved in recordings for the Festival of Music for several years.

As a Special Interest Music student of Brighton Secondary School, Victoria has been a member of many of the schools Choral and Instrumental Ensembles.
Victoria has directed her vocal studies towards the Classical genre although she also enjoys singing other styles such as Folk, Sacred and Light Contemporary.

Her singing teachers have included Arthur Thomas and Heather Elliott. Victoria is currently learning Classical Voice with Guila Tiver, at the Elder Conservatorium where Victoria has been a Single Studies student since 2005.
Victoria is a current member of Brighton’s Symphony Orchestra, Concert and Chamber Choirs, St Peters Lutheran Church Choir, Kensington & Norwood Youth Brass, Young Adelaide Voices (formerly Adelaide Girls Choir), and the University of Adelaide’s Elder Chorale.

Victoria has won many South Australian Eisteddfod events during recent years and was awarded a Wyatt Foundation Scholarship in 2005 and 2006 as well as Elder Conservatorium’s 2007 Frederick Bevan Scholarship for Singing.
Victoria also has interests away from music and is dedicated to making a difference in society in whatever way that she can, whether it is within her school environment or the local community.

Victoria is currently Head Prefect at Brighton and was recently a State Representative at the United Nations Youth Conference in Canberra.
Victoria is intending to study Classical Performance and Arts (History and Language) at the University of Adelaide in 2008.
